Dr. Naficy is a Board Certified Family Physician with over 25 years of clinical experience. In 1985, he graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Microbiology and French Literature. In 1986, he enrolled at the Universidad Central del Caribe, School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. In 1990, he received his Medical Doctor degree. In 1991, Dr. Naficy completed his post graduate training at the University of Southern California Medical Center. In 1998, he completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
Matthew Bruno obtained his Certification for Drug and Alcohol Counseling (CADC) in 2020 and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology to further his education in the field of addiction and helping others in the recovery community. Realizing that no single approach is the right one for every individual, Matthew is devoted to spending as much with each individual, and takes a “hands-on” approach in his role as Program Director. Long term goals for Matthew include pursuing his PhD in psychology, and opening up his own therapeutic practice.
Clint graduated with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology in 2012. He has been working in drug and alcohol treatment for 5 years, and working in private practice for 8 years. Clint specializes in working with clients to help them determine what is holding them back from living the life they envision for themselves. He leverages his experience working in addition to guide clients towards finding the motivation necessary to create meaningful change in their lives.
Joshua is a passionate member of our team, who loves helping others who find themselves struggling with substance abuse. He brings his own knowledge and experience to the field, and is dedicated to helping others improve the quality of their lives. In his free time, Joshua enjoys jet skiing, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and children.
Michael started his career in law, before deciding to switch gears and choosing to work in rehabilitation instead. After finishing his law degree, he went back to school at The University of California, Los Angeles, to obtain his Certification in Alcohol and Drug Counseling (CADC). Since 2015, he has been a case manager, counselor, and aftercare coordinator for men and women. He considers working with people struggling with alcohol and drug abuse to be a privilege. In his spare time, he enjoys riding dirt bikes and working with others to carry out the message of recovery, which he considers to be his life’s work and his passion.
Selena is a dedicated member of our team, who loves helping people through their struggles in their recovery, and watching them succeed. She brings her own wisdom and knowledge to the table, and loves to spread the message of recovery to other addicts. She is pursuing her Certificate of Alcohol and Drug Counseling. When she is not working, she enjoys biking, going to the beach, reading, and spending time with her husband and children.
Taylor is our Medication Assistance Treatment Supervisor. From the first day of your admission, she is there to check your vitals, take your medical assessments, and communicate with our medical director and medical team to ensure you are taken care of for all your medical needs. Taylor is committed to our patients and their care is her number one priority. She has worked in the field of recovery for several years and brings with her knowledge and compassion towards all people trying to overcome their substance use. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and roller coasters.
